The late eighties and early nineties were fueled by an ad campaign urging urban "American" youths to "be like mike"...too bad mike was a basketball player and not a doctor or an engineer. Now there is an entire generation of urbanites who lack critical thinking skills and common sense because they wasted their high school and college years throwing an orange ball through a round hole trying to be "like mike"... -pep boy
